Hon. Mukunji Inspects Kibugu Nguviu Water Project in Nginda Ward
Hon. Gitonga Mukunji recently inspected the ongoing construction of the Kibugu Nguviu Water Project located in the Mt. Kenya Forest, Nginda ward. This significant initiative, fully funded by the National Government, aims to enhance water access for local farmers.
The project includes the construction of a sedimentation basin, the laying of pipelines, and the provision of sprinklers and hose pipes. Currently, the project is at 65% completion and is set to benefit new farmers in the area, improving irrigation and agricultural productivity.
During the inspection, Hon. Mukunji engaged with local residents to discuss the project’s implementation and its expected impact on the community. He expressed gratitude to H.E. President William Samoei Ruto for supporting such landmark projects that are crucial for the development and prosperity of the region.
Hon. Mukunji reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring the project’s successful completion and its role in transforming the livelihoods of farmers in Nginda ward.
