Farewell to Morgan Munene Njeru at Gakinduriri, Mbeti North Ward

Today, we gathered at the Gakinduriri home in Mbeti North Ward to lay to rest Morgan Munene Njeru, a bright and promising 20-year-old who was tragically taken too soon. Munene, who had recently joined college, was remembered as a hardworking and generous young man with a bright future ahead of him.

Family, friends, and the community came together in mourning, sharing heartfelt tributes that reflected on Munene’s kind nature, dedication to his studies, and his desire to make a difference in the lives of those around him. He touched many hearts in his short life, and his absence will be deeply felt.

Hon. Mukunji expressed his condolences to the grieving family, offering words of comfort and prayer during this difficult time. “As we lay Munene to rest, we are reminded of the importance of community and support in times of sorrow. May God grant his family the strength and comfort they need in this period of mourning,” Hon. Mukunji said.

The service was also attended by H.E. Kinyua Mugo, the Deputy Governor of Embu, who joined in paying his respects and offering condolences to the family. Together with other local leaders and community members, they stood in solidarity with the bereaved family, offering support and prayers.

As we bid farewell to Munene, we continue to pray for his family, asking for God’s peace to guide them through this challenging time. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
