Hon. Mukunji recently joined family and friends to pay final respects to two respected members of our community: Morris Mwenda Kariuki and Mwalimu Kariuki.
Farewell to Morris Mwenda Kariuki
The first service was held in Kamviu village, where community members gathered to honor Morris Mwenda Kariuki, a dedicated boda boda rider known for his commitment and service to the community. Morris was not just a rider; he was a friend and a neighbor who touched the lives of many. Hon. Mukunji extended condolences to Morris’s family, acknowledging the profound loss felt by the community and emphasizing the importance of supporting one another during such difficult times.
Honoring Mwalimu Kariuki
Later, Hon. Mukunji attended the burial of Mwalimu Kariuki at Ithithe village in Ruguru Ngandori Ward. Mwalimu Kariuki was a revered educator who dedicated his life to shaping the minds of the youth in our community. His passion for education and commitment to his students left a lasting impact that will be remembered for years to come. During the burial service, Hon.
