Hon. Mukunji Celebrates St. Teresa’s Girls Kithimu Qualification for East Africa Games
In an exciting development for local sports, St. Teresa’s Girls Kithimu has qualified for the East Africa Games in the Rugby 7s category, following a stellar performance in the regional competition held at Kisii School. Led by the dedicated Coach Paul Macharia Nyaga, from Kithimu Ward, the team has brought pride not only to their school but also to the entire Embu County.
Hon. Mukunji, an ardent supporter of youth development and sports in the region, expressed his admiration and congratulations to the team for their remarkable achievement. He emphasized the importance of sports in fostering discipline, teamwork, and leadership among young people.
In his statement, Hon. Mukunji said, “This is a proud moment for St. Teresa’s, for Kithimu Ward, Manyatta Constituency and for all of Embu County. The success of this team demonstrates the power of dedication, talent, and strong mentorship under Coach Paul Macharia Nyaga.
