Productive Development Meeting at Karimari Village, Nginda Ward

Hon. Mukunji recently held a fruitful development meeting at Karimari village, Nginda Ward, focused on addressing key issues affecting our community. The meeting brought together local leaders, community members, and stakeholders to discuss ongoing and future initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life for residents.

Key Discussion Points

1. Electrification of Karimari, Iriari, and Kathambaiconi Villages: A significant portion of the meeting was dedicated to the urgent need for electrification in Karimari, Iriari, and Kathambaiconi villages, which have been living without electricity. This initiative is critical for enhancing the quality of life, enabling access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunities. The electrification project has already been designed and is now awaiting funding from the Ministry. Hon. Mukunji emphasized the importance of this project and committed to advocating for timely resources to ensure its implementation.

2. Infrastructure Improvement at Karimari Primary School: The meeting also focused on the ongoing infrastructure improvements at Karimari Primary School. Construction of new lavatories is currently underway, which will significantly enhance sanitation facilities for students and staff. These improvements are essential for providing a conducive learning environment and promoting the health and well-being of our children.

3. Lighting Manyatta Village by Village: In line with our commitment to community development, we are implementing a project to light Manyatta village by village. This initiative aims to provide safe and reliable lighting to all areas, improving safety and security, and allowing residents to engage in activities after dark.
