Hon. Mukunji Congratulates Joy Inde and Jayden Kiai for Winning at the Africa Youth Chess Championship

Hon. Mukunji extends his heartfelt congratulations to Joy Inde and Jayden Kiai from Lighthouse School, Embu, for their outstanding achievement at the Africa Youth Chess Championship held in Johannesburg, South Africa. The two young chess prodigies not only won in their categories but have also qualified to compete in the World Chess Championship in Montesilvano, Italy, this November.

In recognition of this remarkable accomplishment, Hon. Mukunji, along with the school community, gathered at Lighthouse School to celebrate Joy and Jayden. These two exceptional students have proudly raised the Embu and Kenyan flags high on the international stage, showcasing their talent and determination in the game of chess.
