Hon. Mukunji Inspects Manyatta Police Station and Reviews Proposal for Upgrades
Hon. Mukunji recently conducted an inspection tour of Manyatta Police Station, which also houses the Embu North Sub County offices. The visit was part of his ongoing efforts to ensure that public institutions provide efficient services and that officers work in a conducive environment.
Proposal for Station Improvements
During the tour, Hon. Mukunji reviewed a proposal aimed at improving the station’s facilities. Key highlights of the proposal include:
- Renovations: Plans to refurbish the existing structures to ensure they meet the operational needs of the police force and the community.
- Construction of Additional Offices: New offices will be constructed to accommodate the growing Sub County Police Team, ensuring that officers have adequate space to carry out their duties effectively.
- Police Housing: Recognizing the importance of providing officers with comfortable living conditions, the proposal includes the construction of police houses to support the welfare of the officers and their families.
Commitment to Better Service Delivery
Hon. Mukunji emphasized the importance of ensuring that the police have a decent working environment, as this directly impacts the quality of service provided to the public. “We are working closely with all departments to ensure that these upgrades are implemented swiftly and effectively, so that our officers can continue serving mwananchi in a conducive and supportive environment,” he noted.
