We were honored to host Ambassador Lt. Gen. Peter Mbogo, Kenya’s Ambassador to Pakistan, for an in-depth tour of our tea factories: Kathangariri, Rukuriri, and Mungania. Pakistan remains a key partner in our tea industry, accounting for over 40% of Kenyan tea exports. The visit provided the Ambassador with an opportunity to understand our tea production processes, explore the value chain, and discuss production volumes.

The discussions also focused on exploring possibilities for direct sales from our factories, with the goal of securing better prices for our high-quality tea. Ambassador Mbogo engaged with the management and board members of the factories, discussing strategies to further support the tea sector, which has a significant impact on the local economy.
