NG-CDF Manyatta Patron , Issues Sh.1 Million Bursary Cheques to Support Pupils in Special Schools
As part of his ongoing commitment to empowering Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) through education, NG-CDF Manyatta Patron Hon. Gitonga Mukunji proudly issued bursary cheques totaling Sh.1 million to 140 pupils in special schools. This initiative, aimed at supporting students with physical and learning challenges, demonstrates Hon. Mukunji’s dedication to ensuring that all learners, regardless of their circumstances, have access to quality education.
The bursary distribution is a crucial step in alleviating the financial burden faced by families of children with special needs, allowing them to focus on their studies and reach their full potential. Speaking during the event, Hon. Mukunji emphasized the importance of inclusivity in education. “Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and achieve their dreams. These bursaries are a testament to our commitment to creating an inclusive education system where no student is left behind,” he said.
The funds will help cover tuition fees, educational materials, and other essential support services required by students in special schools, providing them with a stable learning environment. Hon. Mukunji also reaffirmed his support for initiatives that enhance the well-being of PWDs, recognizing that education is a powerful tool for empowerment and societal integration.
This bursary issuance is one of many efforts by NG-CDF Manyatta to support vulnerable members of the community, ensuring that every student, regardless of their challenges, can pursue an education and build a brighter future.
