We had the privilege of hosting Dr. Beatrice Inyangala, the Principal Secretary for Higher Education, for a sensitization program on the New University Funding Model at the University of Embu. This event provided a valuable platform for parents, students, and student leaders to express their views and share recommendations on the new model.

Dr. Inyangala reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to refining the funding model through public participation forums. She also assured that students placed in inappropriate funding bands will be correctly reassigned with the assistance of NGAO officers, ensuring fairness and transparency in the allocation process.
