Hon. Gitonga Mukunji today led a delegation from the Kenya Young Parliamentarians Association (KYPA) in a productive meeting with the Serbian ambassador, Danijela Cubrilo. The meeting aimed to explore potential areas of partnership and bilateral collaboration, focusing on opportunities for implementing the KYPA Strategic Plan 2024.

During the discussions, Hon. Mukunji emphasized the importance of international cooperation in addressing key issues affecting young people in Kenya and Serbia. He expressed hope that partnerships could lead to shared knowledge, resource exchange, and joint initiatives that benefit both nations.

Ambassador Cubrilo welcomed the initiative, highlighting Serbia’s commitment to strengthening diplomatic ties with Kenya. She expressed optimism about the potential for collaborative projects that could enhance youth empowerment, education, and development.

The meeting marks a significant step towards fostering relationships that can pave the way for meaningful collaborations and innovative solutions to common challenges faced by the youth in both countries.
