Kenya is one of the largest consumers of digital content in Africa, making it essential to address our relationship with major platforms like Meta to ensure fair payment of royalties to our content creators. Hon. Mukunji has made a strong commitment to champion the well-being of content creators both within and outside Parliament, working to ensure that they can earn a sustainable living from their art.

The Kenya Film and Classification Board (KFCB) also plays a crucial role in ensuring that creators receive the royalties they deserve. Hon. Mukunji recently engaged with content creators from Embu County during a capacity-building program organized by KFCB, reinforcing the need to support and empower local talent.
