100 Students Sponsored by MP John Gitonga Mukunji Through NG-CDF Begin Industrial Attachment!

We are excited to announce that 100 students, sponsored by MP John Gitonga Mukunji through the NG-CDF Manyatta, have successfully moved to the next phase of their education journey by beginning their industrial attachments. These students, who are pursuing various technical courses at Manyatta Technical and Vocational College, are now gaining hands-on experience in their respective fields.

Technical Courses Covered:

The students, supported by the NG-CDF scholarship program, are undertaking a wide range of technical courses, including:

  • Masonry
  • Plumbing
  • Beauty Therapy
  • Electrical Installation
  • Carpentry and other in-demand technical skills.

Industrial Attachment: Bridging the Gap Between Learning and the Workplace

The industrial attachment phase provides students with an invaluable opportunity to apply the skills they have learned in a real-world setting. By working in various industries related to their fields of study, the trainees are exposed to:

  • The work environment, where they gain practical experience and develop a deeper understanding of their chosen trades.
  • Networking opportunities, allowing them to interact with professionals, build connections, and potentially secure future employment.
  • Hands-on experience, which helps them build confidence and enhance their competency in their technical skills.

This experience is a crucial part of their education, as it bridges the gap between classroom learning and the demands of the job market. It also gives students the chance to market themselves directly to employers, increasing their chances of finding jobs after graduation.

Transforming Lives Through Skills and Education:

The NG-CDF scholarship program, spearheaded by MP John Gitonga Mukunji, is a vital initiative aimed at equipping young people with the technical skills needed to thrive in today’s competitive job market. By sponsoring these students, the program is not only providing financial assistance but also empowering Manyatta’s youth to become self-reliant and highly skilled professionals.

With technical training becoming increasingly essential in various industries, this initiative is helping to address unemployment by equipping youths with relevant, market-driven skills. As these students embark on their industrial attachments, we are confident that their lives will be transformed, and their future opportunities will greatly expand.

Looking Ahead:

As these students gain valuable work experience during their attachment, we look forward to seeing them emerge as qualified professionals ready to contribute to the economic growth and development of Manyatta and beyond. Their journey from training to employment is a testament to the positive impact of NG-CDF’s commitment to education and skills development.

Special Thanks:

We extend our deepest gratitude to MP John Gitonga Mukunji, the NG-CDF team, and the administration of Manyatta Technical and Vocational College for their continued dedication to uplifting the youth of Manyatta through education and skill development. Your commitment to creating brighter futures for these students is changing lives and strengthening the community.

Together, we are shaping a skilled and empowered future for Manyatta!
