Hon. Gitonga Mukunji, the MP for Manyatta and Chairperson of the Kenya Young Parliamentarians Association (KYPA), recently represented Kenya at the Africa Young Legislators Forum in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The forum, a significant gathering for young African leaders, focused on critical issues including corruption, fiscal justice, and digital governance. Hon. Mukunji emphasized that Africa’s wealth is hindered by poor management rather than a lack of resources, advocating for young leaders to push transformative policies that empower their communities and break cycles of economic dependency.
