Karwagi B Electricity Project Lights Up 198 Households in Mbeti North Ward

Mbeti North, Manyatta – In yet another stride toward community development, Hon. Gitonga Mukunji proudly announce the completion of the Karwagi B Electricity Project in Mbeti North Ward. This milestone, achieved in partnership with the Rural Electrification and Renewable Energy Corporation (REREC), has successfully connected 198 households to the national grid, bringing light and opportunity to families in the area.

Speaking on the project’s completion, Hon. Gitonga Mukunji reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring that every village in Manyatta benefits from electrification efforts.This is a significant step in our journey to light up Manyatta, village by village. Access to electricity is a game-changer—it empowers businesses, improves education, enhances security, and uplifts livelihoods,” he stated.

Residents of Karwagi B expressed their joy and gratitude, noting that electricity will transform their daily lives. “For years, we have relied on kerosene lamps and candles, but now our children can study at night, and we can explore new business opportunities,” said one elated resident.

This achievement marks another victory in the ongoing electrification drive, and the Form ni Kujituma team is already gearing up for the next village on the list. “We are not stopping here; we are moving forward with our promise to ensure that no household is left behind,” Hon. Mukunji assured.

The completion of the Karwagi B project underscores the power of partnerships and visionary leadership in driving progress at the grassroots level. As Manyatta continues its journey toward full electrification, the future shines brighter than ever.
