ONGOING RENOVATION OF CLASSROOMS AT KAGUMORI PRIMARY SCHOOL, NGINDA WARD –
DECEMBER 2025
Kagumori Primary School in Nginda Ward is undergoing a major facelift as renovation works continue under the ongoing education infrastructure improvement programme in Manyatta Constituency. The project aims to create safer, cleaner, and more conducive learning spaces for learners as part of a broader effort to upgrade public school facilities.
The refurbishment includes the installation of proper classroom lighting to enhance visibility and ensure a comfortable learning environment for pupils. The improved lighting system is expected to significantly boost both concentration and safety within the classrooms.

The renovation works currently in progress feature a comprehensive upgrade of classroom infrastructure. These include:
- New tiled floors, replacing worn-out surfaces to promote hygiene and durability.
- New roofing installation, ensuring classrooms are fully protected from leakages and harsh weather conditions.
- Fresh painting of classrooms, giving the school a cleaner, brighter look and creating a more welcoming learning atmosphere.
- Installation of new metal-frame windows, designed to improve ventilation, security, and natural lighting.
- Electrification
These improvements form part of the ongoing investments under the Masomo Bila Stress programme—an initiative aimed at modernising learning spaces across Manyatta Constituency. The programme prioritises upgrading outdated infrastructure, ensuring pupils have access to classrooms that meet modern standards.
Local leaders have emphasized that these developments are not only an investment in school facilities but also a direct investment in the future of area children. By creating better learning environments, the constituency aims to support improved academic performance and overall learner wellbeing.
As renovation works progress, the community remains optimistic that the improved facilities will inspire learners and contribute to a more positive educational experience.
Together, the people of Manyatta continue building a better future for their children—one classroom at a time.
